"It was a story that needed telling."
----------------------------------------------- When I was a rookie in the 3-2, I was assigned a foot-post on 145 St. Some pct veterans took pity on me and let me ride in their back seat for a while. They took me up to the Polo Grounds/Rangel Houses where Waverly Jones and Joseph Piagentini were assassinated by the same group of MF's and told me the story. It was important to them that as many people as possible knew that sordid history. I worked in the 32 84-86. Always made it a point to bring rooks to the Colonial Houses and show them that sight. NEVER FORGET THE PAST.

I was working in the 26th and on our first tour back off swing I would be assigned to the Riverside Dr. home of DA Hogan. Being a rookie I had no partner so I'd get assigned with whoever was unattached that shift. I had my first vacation with the PD and was in Florida When I learned that Tom Curry and Nick Binetti had been machine gunned down while sitting on DA Hogan's residence. That happened on the day it would have been my first tour back from swing. When I came back to the command I was assigned to guard Tom and Nick in the hospital. When Tom improved I was assigned twice a tour to go up and assist while he learned to walk again. I believe that the two remained on the job, on paper anyway. Those years, for those of us on the streets were harrowing. You were on guard and leery of everyone and every call could be a set up.

Rest in peace Officers's Foster and Laurie, the two of you are heroes and are not forgotten...
To the female garbage that has been supported by the Cuban government the past forty years, I hope you have a long and extremely painful death.
Twyman Meyers, burn in hell!

THE BLA WERE STILL ACTIVE UNTIL THE EARLY 80'S. THERE LAST ACTION OF VIOLENCE AGAIN THE NYPD WAS IN APRIL 198I WHEN A VAN WAS STOPPED IN THE 113 PRECINCT BY PO JERRY SCARANGELLA AND PO RICO RAINEY. BOTH OFFICER WERE SHOT WHILE STILL THE RMP. SCARANGELLA AND RAINEY BOTH WERE SHOT MANY TIMES (RICO 14 TIMES). JERRY SCARANGELLA DIED A FEW DAYS LATER. RAINEY SURVIVED AND LIVED TO TESTIFY AGAINST THE TWO SHOOTERS. BOTH LABOARD AND YORK WERE BOTH CONVICTED AFTER MANY TRIALS OF HOMICIDE ON SCARANGELLA AND ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE ON RAINEY. BOTH DIED IN PRISON. PO RAINEY DIED A FEW YEARS AGO AFTER BEING RETIRED FROM HIS INJURIES. MAY BOTH OFFICERS REST IN PEACE AND THE TWO DEVIL ROT IN HELL.

You can pay your respects at the Memorial Cemetery of Saint John's Church, Laurel Hollow, NY. Follow the smell of urine.
