Eyewitnesses said they saw a plume of smoke rising over north east of Riyadh
Yemen rebels said they had fired a 'Volcano H-2' towards city's royal residence
Spokesman claimed it was to target meeting of Saudi leaders at Yamama palace
Saudi coalition said it had intercepted a missile as pictures showed smoke in sky
