The NY politicians are now in a panic mode.
They know nothing they say or do can prevent these terror attacks, especially now after TWO of them...of two different types....within a month or so, and another bombing within 15 months.
They come out with these hollow statements of "no credible threats," and detail how all the "alphabet" units are "blanketing the area" and police security has been "enhanced" at all the hot spots in the city, except the two bomb runs PROVE, beyond a doubt, that a bomber can strap on a bomb, get on a subway, and travel all the way into Manhattan, and commit the havoc they intended to do, and no cop, specialized unit, "enhanced patrol," will stop it.
And with the upcoming holidays, City Hall and 1PP probably feel like they are walking into a darkened room after having been in the sunlight: they can't see a thing and have no idea what's in front of them.
Then they go out of their way to badmouth Trump while he attempts to keep these kind of people out of the country.

refusing to enforce ICE warrants
refusing to notify the feds of illegal immigrant criminals.

For them to be in a panic they would have to be opposed to what the muslims are doing. But Are they opposed? Does anyone think DeBlasio hates these people? Does he want to see these people anniliated?
I don't think so. He sees them as oppressed people fighting the great imperialist giant, America. For revolutionaries like him, America in its current manifestation is the greatest evil. Any group devoted to its destruction or its reconstitution along non-capitalist lines, is seen as praiseworthy by them.

The brother of Port Authority bombing suspect Akayed Ullah worships at the same mosque where infamous blind sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman once preached, law enforcement sources told The Post on Monday. Ullah’s brother Ahsan attends Mas Jid al-Salam mosque in Jersey City, where the radical cleric Abdel-Rahman used to spew hate. Rahman came to the FBI’s attention following the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. The blind sheik – considered the WTC attack mastermind – was implicated in plots targeting the UN, Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. He was convicted of conspiracy in federal court in 1995, sentenced to life behind bars and died earlier this year at the age of 78.
Ahsan Ullah is being questioned by police but Akayed insists his brother had no role in the Port Authority attack, sources have said. |

They probably are opposed to it, but they're in a panic mode because they know that they will alienate a potential voting bloc if the come out and point a finger at them and condemn their actions.
I always remember after 9/11, Bloomberg went up to that mosque on 3rd Ave and 96 St and had a press conference to pander to the Muslims there. After he gave is pandering spiel about his "friends in the Muslim community," the imam of the mosque spoke. Everyone (especially Bloomberg) thought the imam would also condemn the attacks on the WTC....but he didn't. What he did attack was the possibility of the "Islamaphobic" cops ticketing the cars around the mosque and the possibility that the cops wouldn't protect them against people attacking them....but no condemnation of the WTC.
So then, Bloomberg was in a "panic mode," of how to explain the imam's statement...or lack of a statement.
This continues to be a problem in the Leftist political world even today.

This is the WORST thing that the Democrats would want to hear!
With this declaration from the terrorist, Trump will do double-duty to make sure that HIS immigration policy will be put into full-time operation, and the Dems will not be able to say anything about it!

Suspected bomber to Trump: ‘You failed to protect’ America

Alleged Port Authority bomber Akayed Ullah wanted to send a message straight to the White House: ‘Trump you failed to protect your nation.”
That’s what the 27-year-old ISIS adherent wrote on his Facebook page while on his way to blow himself up at the bustling transit hub Monday morning, according to a federal complaint filed Tuesday.
He had also written notes in his passport, including one “particularly chilling note”: “O AMERICA, DIE IN YOUR RAGE,” Acting US Attorney Joon Kim said at a press conference Tuesday.
The charges also reveal that the Bangladesh-born cabbie’s online radicalization began in 2014, and he began researching how to build bombs a year ago — although he only started working on his plan to attack the city a few weeks ago, and constructed his crude explosive device at his Brooklyn home a week ago.
“His admissions included a statement that he did this in support of ISIS, that he had been radicalized in view of propaganda from ISIS,” Kim told reporters.
“He also made statements … about issues he had with America’s Middle East policies.”
Ullah built the bomb for “maximum damage,” federal prosecutors charge — filling it with metal screws — and choosing to detonate it on a workday because “he believed that there would be more people.”
“Ullah had hoped to die in his own misguided rage, taking as many innocent people as he could with him,” Kim said.
“But through incredibly good fortune his bomb did not seriously injure anyone other than himself.”
The prosecutor and other law enforcement officials refused to comment on reports that Ullah had chosen the specific location for his attack in part because of Christmas posters there — or whether he was on any watchlists.
Ullah is expected to appear before a judge either later Tuesday or on Wednesday, likely via video from his hospital bed.
