Now we have MS13, Latin Kings, The Bloods, The Crips, and assorted other really violent gangs. In the 50's-60's we had these guys......they seem so tame by todays standards.....'The Fordham Baldies'(they really were'nt bald, watch film clip:

I loved that movie.
I liked when Mr. Sharp (sp) the school teacher asked them
for every slang term they used for each others race.
They soon ran out of them but it was funny as heck and his
point was made.

19, great clip.....I think if it Mr. Sharp taught that same lesson today, Mr. Sharp would quickly be on the unemployment line(unless of course he had tenure.) The Bronx, during the 50's was a great place to grow up, I would guess. I'm waiting for the remake of 'The Taking Of Pelham 123,' I hope it's half as good as the original...
Has a good cast, hopefully they deliver! Scheduled to be released next summer, wonder if they are filming anything local or if it will all be staged. Got to keep my eyes open, saw a few film productions around here a while back. Talking to the MOS from Movie TV unit, he said it was for a Law and Order episode. Did not stick around to catch the cast but others said they were aces.

There's some info on the remake...
