I hope that everyone looked to see how their council rep voted and if they participated in this travesty of democracy, remember to put foot to a$$ and kick them out of their cushy seats in next year's election.

Agree with above... this is a miscarriage, period. If the voters give him a THIRD term, it will be an embarrassment for years to come. BUT, it we defeat him and prove a point, it will be a BOLD statement of the values of REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT in the mold of the Revolutionary Era.

Agreed! There should be a choice in the poll for, "No f@#$ing way" I was hoping that Charles Barron had voted against term limits just so I could hate him more but unfortunately not. Who's disgraceful now, Mr. Mayor?

Absolutely not. NO politican should serve more than two terms. Take a look at doddering, old Sen. Byrd (WVA). Moses lets him cut line at buffets. Two terms and out ya go!

Obviously the City Council thought so, what about you? the only reason they thought so is because there term can be extended as well since most of them are out. It's a joke if you ask me.

That and the fact that Bloomberg actually bribed them by funding 'pork' in their individual districts. He didn't even have the courtesy to do it with his own money. He used our money to do it! Talk about irony.

Talk about irony. The people voted to have term limits and now you have the city council members voting to extend it without a vote from the public? thats wrong but then again what is right with the city anyways!
