Woman takes NYPD patrol car for joyride, gets caught in traffic

"A woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a marked NYPD cop car in Harlem on Saturday night, law enforcement sources said.



Kassie Moses, 28, is accused of swiping the patrol car belonging to the 25th Precinct while it was parked at the corner of East 132nd Street and Madison Avenue at about 11:15 p.m., sources said.



The officer who had been using the car was responding to a foot pursuit in the area. He inadvertently dropped the car’s keys when he got out of the vehicle, sources said.



Moses, of Harlem, found the keys and took the car for a drive, striking another NYPD vehicle driven by a captain, before getting caught in traffic on the Madison Avenue Bridge, sources said.



Moses, who has 12 prior arrests, was charged with grand larceny auto, criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment.



Nobody was injured during the incident, sources said."

The Perp has immunity under the Governors bail reform law and De Blasio would never think of making this a criminal issue but Charlaine who is now in charge of the Inequality Task Force will see to it that Miss Moses receives free driving lessons courtesy of the New York Tax payer.

perhaps the captain ought to give itself a cd for failure to yield to a emergency vehicle. we all know that captains ain't got the balls left to get actually involved. well, most of them.

Switched keys rings a very lonnngggggg time ago....other key got jammed in ignition....oops...there was some vented words by one assigned to unmarked.
