Seen on the news that restaurants are donating food to SH. So I feel I should pass on to the youth just  what to do. First thing, the Desk Lt 10-1s the sector that covers the restaurant. Tells them to get the chow. Sector must go to back door, look both ways for shoe fly, then go in. Talk nice to the chef about this and that. Rush back to SH so food stays warm. On way in stop by by old Irish bar and pick up "flute' for Desk Lt.  At SH go to locker to get your personnel  knife and fork, never use the knives and forks in the SH kitchen area, they are for the civilians.

Tax852 is a legend in his own time. Grew up in Parkchester, was one of first classes that graduated from 20th Street. I believe he said he did almost 40 yrs OTJ. I envy the time he was a cop because it was a great time to be a cop. Keep collecting sir, I hope to be as fortunate as you are.

AS A ROOKIE WORKING ONE OF MY FIRST TOURS IN AN RMP IN THE OLD SLIP SH ON A SUNDAY 4X12. WE GET CALLED INTO THE HOUSE. THE OLD TIMER I WAS WITH STAYED IN THE RMP. I GO TO THE DESK AND THE OLD TIME LT. TOLD ME HE WANTED A LOBSTER DINNER WITH FRYES. I TOLD HIM THERE WASEN'T EVEN A PLACE TO GET COFFEE IN THE PCT ON A SUNDAY NIGHT. HE SAID KID LISTEN TO ME VERY CLOSELY I TOLD YOU I WANTED A LOBSTER DINNER, I NEVER SAID WHERE TO GET IT. WE WENT UP TO CHINA TOWN SAW THE MOP AN GAVE HIM A POUND AND TOLD HIM WHY WE NEEDED A LOBSTER DINNER. TOOK THE MEAL BACK TO THE DO AND HE ASKED HOW MUCH DO I OWE YOU. NEXT TIME BOSS THIS ONE IS ON US. I THINK IT WAS TUESDAY MORNING I WAS NOTIFIED THAT I HAD A SEAT IN SECTOR EDWARD.

I HAD PASSED THE TEST AND NEVER GOT SCREWED BY MOST LT'S AFTER THAT.

Wow. What a story, when cops were cops and the job was almost on the level. Lol. Sir, you too seem to be a bona fide legend. Stay healthy and collect many many more of them checks. Not from just from the City of New York but also from Social Security.

Me thinks you have been out awhile. Cops today are way too busy singing and dancing.
