First week in a new command he goes to a community meeting and tells the "militant Democrats" in attendance that he instructed the troops "not to beat prisioners" when in fact we had no such problem. Now the residents think we are routinely tuning up the local perps. Later he bounces me from a nice slot because he didn't like the answer I gave to a question even though it was the truth. He replaced me with the Boro Chief's girlfriend. There are other such stories, but those two come to mind..... |

He's probably the one who infected Morris.

He was a Lt in the 40 for a short time.....C.O. of the 45 Pct for a short time.... A Lawyer, loves to brag about it...Totally sheltered his whole career....
Was at the scene of a suicide as a Boss at St Raymonds cemetery in the 45 pct, guy shot himself in the head with a 25 cal... Gun still in hand... This tool comes on the scene and does a firearm check of all MOS at scene including me, about 12 cops. One of the old-timers calls him a DICK under his breath... We all busted out laughing...He made like he didn't hear it, turned Red and left....Total D-Bag.....
Case Closed... That’s just short of unbelievable. What a toolbag. |

If you click on the link, now it says that Chief Morris has passed away.

I was just talking about this to my brother the other day. A lot of NYPD chiefs, to be fair, are not in great health.
I thought it was only a matter time before one of them fell to the China virus. I guess I spoke too soon.

God forgive me but, +1. Karmas a bitch! I knew this guy more than most, up close....... I’ll respect the dead and keep my options of him to myself. But, nobody deserves to go out gasping for breath..... I actually feel bad he went out like that, I didn’t think I would, but I do. I wish I could say he’ll be missed, but like I said, I knew the man. |

Wow, that is a shame...no one should pass from this invisible threat!! Sorry that a few had not good experiences with him while OTJ. PRAYERS TO HIS FAMILY!! Rest in Peace. I wonder if the right move would to bring back Chief Chan on a interim basis. He had a long tenure there at Transportation and was really liked by many.

Did not know Morris firsthand...but to echo others, based on what is posted here and elsewhere, I feel it is safe to say he was no Captain Tunnock.
So it is no secret that I have a number of issues with a number of individuals that I encountered, in the words of Clouseau, "This thing of ours."
Would I wish this on them? No. That would validate the Chinese bioweapon.
Would I be upset at those individual's passings?
My silence should tell you all you need to know.
