That’s crazy. Only in America, can you say something that’s outrageous, been filmed saying just the opposite weeks ago, and now it’s a big story.
I really hate these people more and more every day.

Dr. Fauci is not to be trusted. Exactly. He was on FOX last night telling a different story. He should be investigated. He has a financial gain only n a vaccine.

Trump Retweets Call to Fire FauciBy Kristinn Taylor Published April 12, 2020 at 6:19pm 177 Comments President Trump retweeted a post Sunday evening that included a call to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, the controversial member of Trump’s White House coronavirus task force who accused Trump of ignoring his advice to institute social distancing in mid-February in an interview with CNN Sunday morning, saying that lives “could have been saved.” Trump himself did not directly comment on Fauci.Fauci has served since 1984 as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the NIH. Later Sunday video from February 29 resurfaced of Fauci on the Today Show telling Americans they did not need to alter their behavior for the COVID-19 Chinese coronavrius. Trump wrote, “Sorry Fake News, it’s all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up. Thank you @oann”, over a tweet by former GOP congressional candidate DeAnna Lorriane that said, “Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he could’ve saved more lives. Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large. Time to #FireFauci…” TRENDING: AWFUL! Disgusting Dr. Fauci UNLOADS on Trump on EASTER SUNDAY -- "Lives Could Have Been Saved!" (Video) Sorry Fake News, it’s all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up. Why?” DR. FAUCI: “It is what it is.” TAPPER: “Would it have saved lives?” DR. FAUCI: “OBVIOUSLY.” 😢😷💔pic.twitter.com/BS7RTa6Nw5 — The Tennessee Holler (@thetnholler) April 12, 2020 UPDATE: Transcript excerpt via CNN: TAPPER: “The New York Times” reported yesterday that you and other top officials wanted to recommend social and physical distancing guidelines to President Trump as far back as the third week of February, but the administration didn’t announce such guidelines to the American public until March 16, almost a month later. Why? FAUCI: You know, Jake, as I have said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint. We make a recommendation. Often, the recommendation is taken. Sometimes, it’s not. But we — it is what it is. We are where we are right now. TAPPER: Do you think lives could have been saved if social distancing, physical distancing, stay-at-home measures had started third week of February, instead of mid-March? FAUCI: You know, Jake, again, it’s the what would have, what could have. It’s — it’s very difficult to go back and say that. I mean, obviously, you could logically say, that if you had a process that was ongoing, and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives. Obviously, no one is going to deny that. But what goes into those kinds of decisions is — is complicated. But you’re right. I mean, obviously, if we had, right from the very beginning, shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then.

It was Peter Navarro who circulated a memo about the pandemic in the 3rd week in January. The intel services told Trump in Mid January we had a problem on the horizon. 2 weeks later he shut down travel to and from china. All the information being cultivated was disinformation from china and its control over the WHO. They set policy for the world, and Trump said, forget that crap, shut down china. Many democrats were trying to say that as far back as October the president was briefed on the coronavirus pandemic. That was more Chinese disinformation the fake news and the fake democrats made a big stink about, but to no avail.
Dr. Fauci kept switching recommendations until the second week of March, when the administration finally pulled itself together and got on the same page. But Fauci was the know it all in every meeting, even getting into a heated dispute with Peter Navarro, which apparently he still hasnt gotten over.
Remember when Dr Fauci had to squash rumors that he we being prevented from speaking with the press, when VP Pence headed up the task force? I bet it was Fauci who leaked that out, but then had to retract that as not to jeopardize his position.

Trump keeps exposing theses deep state operatives that are trying to do whatever they can to sabotage him. EXPLORE MORE: NEWSTARGET.COM BRIGHTEON.COM CENSORED.NEWS NATURALNEWSRADIO.COM STORE Why did Fauci CHEER when hydroxychloroquine was used in 2013 for MERS, but is now skeptical for coronavirus? Sunday, April 12, 2020 by: Ethan Huff Tags: Anthony Fauci, badhealth, badmedicine, badscience, cheered, China, Chinese Virus, coronavirus, covid-19, disease, Fauci, global emergency, Global Pandemic, hydroxychloroquined, infection, MERS, novel coronavirus, outbreak, pandemic, President Trump, prevention, virus, Wuhan, Wuhan coronavirus 3,140 VIEWS Image: Why did Fauci CHEER when hydroxychloroquine was used in 2013 for MERS, but is now skeptical for coronavirus? (Natural News) After President Donald Trump mentioned during a recent press conference the potential benefits of hydroxychloroquine for treating the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), Anthony Fauci from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) quickly piped in that the remedy supposedly isn’t proven, and that people shouldn’t think of it as a “knockout drug.” So why, then, did he praise this very same drug back in 2013 as a treatment for the MERS coronavirus, a relative of COVID-19? At the time, Barack Obama was occupying the White House, and an NAIAD study conducted by a guy named Darryl Falzarano found that an antiviral cocktail containing hydroxychloroquine showed incredible promise in vitro for preventing viral replication. Fauci jumped at the chance to praise the discovery, announcing that it was “particularly encouraging” because these drugs are “widely available,” meaning they can get into the hands of people who need them quickly and easily. However, now that Trump and his administration are in charge, Fauci is singing a much different tune. Rather than express enthusiasm for the many cases of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) that have already been successfully treated with hydroxychloroquine, Fauci felt the need to throw a wet blanket over the whole thing and override Trump’s announcement in a stunning display of disrespect. “You’ve got to be careful when you say ‘fairly effective,'” Fauci shot back at Trump after the president suggested, based on Fauci’s own statements from seven years ago, that hydroxychloroquine demonstrated effectiveness against SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome). “It was never done in a clinical trial that compared it to anything. It was given to individuals and felt that maybe it worked.” Listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, talks about the health benefits of zinc in fighting against the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19): In 2013, hydroxychloroquine’s benefits were “science;” now they’re just “feelings,” according to Fauci Fauci couldn’t just leave it at that, however. He had to go on when pressed further about Trump’s claims concerning hydroxychloroquine to insist that the president simply “feels optimistic” about the treatment, suggesting that there isn’t any actual science to back it. Such a claim is patronizing at best, and at worst serves as more proof that Fauci is little more than a deep state traitor who’s playing politics during one of the worst global pandemics in history. Rather than do what’s right on behalf of the American people, he’d rather trash our Commander-in-Chief on the world stage, and in the process put countless lives at risk. Somehow, it was all “science” back when Obama was in charge during several coronavirus crises that precipitated the use of hydroxychloroquine as an inexpensive and effective remedy. But with Trump at the helm, it’s just “feelings,” according to Fauci, and Americans should instead wait for a magical future vaccine that will supposedly make everything all better. The only real glimmer of hope with all this is the fact that perhaps more Americans than ever before are waking up to the charade, and realizing that Fauci is less concerned about protecting public health than he is about playing politics and making Trump look bad. He’s also continuing Obama’s disastrous legacy of trying to destroy the country while pretending to be trying to save it. “Dr. Fauci is a puppetmaster for the vaccine industry and claims nothing can stop the virus except a non-existent vaccine,” writes Adams. “He’s currently downplaying hydroxychloroquine + zinc, a combination that has so far achieved an astonishing cure rate among coronavirus patients, because he’s trying to position his buddies in the vaccine industry to reap windfall profits from whatever vaccine they come up with, which will of course be heralded as the savior of humankind www.naturalnews.com/2020-04-12-fauci-cheered-hydroxychloroquine-for-mers-2013.html

Time for Trump to fire this guy. He is lying. Fauci Tells Sharpton He Warned Trump Admin in Mid to Late January “We Were in Real Trouble”from Coronavirus By Kristinn Taylor Published April 13, 2020 at 1:20am 376 Comments Share (121) Dr. Anthony Fauci, a leading member of the White House coronavirus task force, threw President Trump under the bus again Sunday in an interview with Rev. Al Shaprton on MSNBC. Fauci said he told the administration “we were in real trouble” from the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus in mid to late January and that Trump’s travel bans were instituted too late to be effective. Earlier on Sunday Fauci told CNN that lives were lost because Trump didn’t heed his advice for social distancing and lockdowns in February. However, at the end of February Fauci himself was telling Americans they didn’t have to change their lifestyles over the coronavirus. Fauci has served since 1984 as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the NIH. Advertisement - story continues below Transcript by TGP: Sharpton: “Let me ask you uh, uh this. When did it occur to you in, in your capacity that this was, uh, a problem that would reach pandemic proportions? We had all kind of reports about when, uh, Washington was notified, the Congress, the White House, when did it occur to you that we were in real danger here?” TRENDING: Trump Retweets Call to Fire Fauci Fauci: “You know it occurred, well there was always this thought that there was some danger. But when we got to the point where it was clear that some of the misinformation that we initially got from China–because remember, their first cases were reported at the very end of December, December 31st. They said it was something like 24 cases in this wet market where these exotic animals are sold and there’s a human-animal interface. And, and The proposal that was made by the authorities in China where this was just jumping from an animal to a human, and it wasn’t spread from human-to-human. Then it became clear when you look back that it was likely in China that there was human-to-human spread. By the time we got that information and we started getting cases here, it was, ‘well, it’s not efficiently spread from human-to-human.’ But as soon as it became clear that there was community spread, which means that it isn’t just a travel-related case, that there are cases that are in the community under the radar screen, then it became clear that we were in real trouble.” Sharpton: “When was that? Around when was that?” Advertisement - story continues below Fauci: “Well, that was probably towards the middle to end of January.” Sharpton: “Okay. And, and what did you begin advising the administration and those authorities that we were in fact seeing something different here and this could be a major problem at that time?” Fauci: “You bet. And then, then that’s when it became clear that there are a couple of ways of addressing that. You could either prevent or try to block the influx of new cases from out of the country, and already cases had come in from China, to try and say, ‘That’s it, we got to stop that because now we already have cases here.’ And then it switched to Europe. And when Italy had their outbreak, it became clear that that became a danger. So that’s when cases were cut off from coming in from Europe and then ultimately the U.K. But by that time we had enough cases in our own country that the ability to do the containment slipped then into the need for mitigation and we saw what happened in New York.” www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/fauci-tells-sharpton-warned-trump-admin-mid-late-january-real-troublefrom-coronavirus/

Chris Wallace Dabbles in Some Really Dishonest HindsightPosted at 10:00 pm on April 12, 2020 by Bonchie Chris Wallace Dabbles in Some Really Dishonest Hindsight FILE – In this Oct. 19, 2016 file photo, moderator Chris Wallace guides the discussion between Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during the third presidential debate at UNLV in Las Vegas. Wallace, who just turned 70, signed a contract extension to continue as “Fox News Sunday” host. (Joe Raedle/Pool via AP, File) As we entered this Sunday morning, one of the things that’s happened throughout the past week is a rash of misleading hindsight regarding how the White House responded to the Wuhan virus crisis. We’ve seen outlets which not only downplayed the risks, but chastised the President for taking early actions, now pretending they were making the right calls all along. The Times tried this tack a few days ago, claiming that Trump was “warned” of a possible pandemic in January and presenting it as if he ignored those warnings. Enter Fox News’ Chris Wallace, who I guess wanted to get in on the action. Chris Wallace on Fox News, hours before Trump attacked him: "This really stunning report in the NYT…that top health officials within the administration were warning POTUS from mid-January on about the real threat of this pandemic, & it took more than a month for him to respond" pic.twitter.com/YOF1sVPqA3 — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 12, 2020 To be kind, this is nonsense and Wallace knows better. Trump did not take “more than a month” to respond to the information he received in January. In fact, he formed a task force the day he received the memo from Navarro laying out the possible ramifications of the virus’ spread. What was the media doing at that time? Well, they were obsessed with impeachment, calling Trump racist for banning travel from China, and gnashing their teeth over the demographics of the task force. t.co/mpu13ZtYrW — Allan (@allanricharz) April 12, 2020 But perhaps Wallace was talking about lockdowns? If he was, he’s still being deeply dishonest. As late as February 29th, Dr. Fauci was telling the public and the President that the risks were low. Virtually no one, including almost all the nation’s governors, would have supported the President attempting to shut down the country and economy in February. How do I know? Because as late as early March, the media and Gov. Cuomo were freaking out at the suggestion of possibly quarantining New York City. But Trump was going to get support for a lockdown of everyone in early February? On what planet, exactly? This kind of ridiculous re-writing of history needs to stop. I don’t care who’s in charge, you can always go back in time and say “Well, if we’d done this earlier, this would have happened.” Fluid situations with limited data don’t allow for that in real-time. Just because there was a report in late January that things could get bad, that does not mean the President had enough information to make rash calls, especially ones that would have gotten him accused of operating as a dictator. Again, Wallace knows better but is choosing to peddle this stuff anyway. The reality is that everyone missed this early on. That includes Chris Wallace and essentially every other media outlet. No one should be gaslighting by acting as if they knew all along how this would go down. They didn’t. Period.

This part in the writers piece is not correct. I was watching the live coronataskforce briefing where Navarro was asked about the memo. Navarro stated he never told POTUS or showed him the memo because there was no actionable intelligence in the memo. Just pure supposition.

The virus is, or was, a foot in the door by the Leftists to start incrementally moving the country further to the Left, by:
- Further attempts at discrediting Trump;
- Further restrict movements of the population;
- Give almost unfettered dictatorial powers to "friendly" state governors (Cuomo, Murphy, Lamont (CT), Newsome (CA))
- Take control of the economy by breaking it down and "rebuilding" it as they see fit.
They also realized an unplanned opportunity to remove religion and worship from the town square and an attempt to stop the November elections. That may still be a work in progress for them.
They didn't plan it this way, but the they saw a serious chance very close to the election, and they moved on it.
That's why this Fauci clown continues to yell the sky is falling, to offset the disappointing reports from Cuomo (disappointing to Cuomo) that the numbers are falling and hospitalizations are dropping and the hospitals are now well equipped. Fauci's job is to keep the "alarm" alive and loud, with the fawning Leftist media carrying his words as gospel truth.
Fortunately, Trump has finally seen through all this.

The memo was circulated 1/29 and Trump shut it down 1/31 without seeing it. Where are memos from the medical people? If they told Trump something then shouldn’t it be in a transcript of the meeting? Trump knows he has them lying. The question is what else does he have them saying, especially to foriegn actors.

They were taking their orders from the WHO. They dont want to be seen as quacks so they have to blame someone. Might as well be Trump because 45% of the population wont believe it, the other 45% will, with no questions asked, and the other 10% really dont care.

What happened to all the success in France? Or the patients in the US who were dying and saved by it? What about the NYC trials?
Although the article's title is a bit misleading. It talks about HQL and Zpack that causes some sort of cardiac damage, but does not discuss strictly HCQ by itself and as an early treatment.

Novartis Plans Phase III Trial of Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 (dated 4/20/20)Novartis said today it will carry out a Phase III trial assessing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for hospitalized patients with COVID-19—a study whose clinical data could strengthen or weaken the case for one of the drugs promoted by President Donald Trump as “a game changer” against the virus. The company said it reached agreement with the FDA to launch a randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study, which will recruit approximately 440 patients and use a supply of hydroxychloroquine to be donated by Novartis’ Sandoz generics and biosimilars division. The trial will be conducted at more than a dozen sites in the U.S., Novartis said. Enrollment of patients will begin “within the next few weeks,” Novartis said, adding that it was committed to reporting results “as soon as possible.” Novartis also committed to making available any intellectual property within its control related to the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat or prevent COVID-19 widely available “through non-exclusive voluntary licenses, appropriate waivers, or similar mechanisms.” “We recognize the importance of answering the scientific question of whether hydroxychloroquine will be beneficial for patients with COVID-19 disease,” John Tsai, Novartis’ head of global drug development and chief medical officer, said in a statement. Patients in the trial will be randomized into three groups. The first group or arm will receive hydroxychloroquine. The second group will receive hydroxychloroquine in combination with azithromycin, which is an antibiotic therapy. The third group will receive placebo. Patients in all treatment groups are receiving standard of care for COVID-19.Novartis markets a generic version of hydroxychloroquine, an antimalarial drug sold under the brand-name Plaquenil® by Sanofi which has also been approved by the FDA for lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. “What do you have to lose?” For more than a month, Trump has promoted as a treatment for COVID-19 a combination treatment consisting of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, an antibacterial which is marketed by Pfizer as Zithromax® or Z-Pak, and indicated for adults with acute bacterial sinusitis, and community-acquired pneumonia. Zithromax is also indicated for acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. “What do you have to lose?” Trump exclaimed during the April 4 Coronavirus Task Force Briefing, adding: “I just hope that hydroxychloroquine wins, coupled with, perhaps, the Z-Pak.” On March 28, the FDA issued an emergency use authorization allowing healthcare providers to make available chloroquine phosphate or hydroxychloroquine sulfate to “patients for whom a clinical trial is not available, or participation is not feasible,” adding “FDA encourages the conduct and participation in randomized controlled clinical trials that may produce evidence concerning the effectiveness of these products in treating COVID-19.” The Trump administration’s apparent embrace of the combination treatment has come despite concerns expressed publicly by Anthony Fauci, MD, Director of the NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, that more data was needed on the safety and efficacy of the drugs. The combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, and monotherapies of both, are among the most-mentioned “front runners” therapeutics as categorized by GEN in its updated A-List of COVID-19 therapeutics in the works: “Vanquishing the Virus: 160+ COVID-19 Drug and Vaccine Candidates in Development,” published last week.
The combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin has gained public attention for successful results in some studies. Notably, a study in press March 17 in the journal International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents was a 42-patient study in which 26 patients completed treatment with hydroxychloroquine, six with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, and 16 patients served as a control group receiving symptomatic treatment and antibiotics (six halted hydroxychloroquine treatment early). According to the study, “100% of patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin combination were virologicaly cured comparing with 57.1% in patients treated with hydroxychloroquine only, and 12.5% in the control group.” The study’s corresponding author, Professor Didier Raoult, MD, PhD, of l’Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection in Marseille—who discussed the results in a YouTube video posted March 17—has been appointed by the French government to research possible COVID-19 treatments. “Does not meet” standard However, more than two weeks later on April 3, the society that publishes the journal where Raoult’s study appeared, the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, issued a notice stating that the study “does not meet the [Society’s] expected standard, especially relating to the lack of better explanations of the inclusion criteria and the triage of patients to ensure patient safety.” The Society added: “Despite some suggestions online as to the reliability of the article’s peer review process, the process did adhere to the industry’s peer review rules.” A Chinese research team published positive results for hydroxychloroquine in COVID-19 patients, concluding March 18 in Cell Discovery that: “HCQ can efficiently inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection in vitro. In combination with its anti-inflammatory function, we predict that the drug has a good potential to combat the disease. This possibility awaits confirmation by clinical trials.”
Another Chinese team concluded that chloroquine and Gilead Sciences’ Remdesivir were “highly effective in the control of 2019-nCoV infection in vitro,” according to a study published February 4 in the Nature-owned journal Cell Research that added: “They should be assessed in human patients suffering from the novel coronavirus disease.” Another Chinese team reported March 4 in Clinical Infectious Diseases that “Hydroxychloroquine was found to be more potent than chloroquine.” However, neither the French nor Chinese studies were randomized clinical trials. The French investigators also acknowledged the “small sample size” in their conclusion—as cited by critics, along with the side effects of hydroxychloroquine. Critics also cite the death of a man after he and his wife ingested fish tank cleaner containing chloroquine phosphate; the death was disclosed March 23 by healthcare provider Banner Health, which added that his wife was in critical condition at a Banner hospital. Supporters of chloroquine phosphate have countered that the couple ingested a far higher dose than a doctor would have prescribed. Other clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 are underway in China vs. placebo (NCT04261517) and vs. AbbVie’s Kaletra (NCT04307693). While the ‘1517 study showed positive preliminary outcomes, its sample size was small (N=30, randomized 1:1 to treatment or placebo), and virological clearance rate was for placebo patients (93.3%) vs. hydroxychloroquine (86.7%). Radiological progression showed on 5 hydroxychloroquine patients (33.3) vs. 7 placebo patients (46.7%). A multi-nation trial comparing chloroquine with Kaletra in up to 3,040 patients (NCT04304053) was recruiting patients as of March 24. Five drugs eyed in COVID-19 Hydroxychloroquine is one generic drug that Novartis said it will assess in clinical trials. Novartis also plans to sponsor or co-sponsor clinical trials to study ruxolitinib and canakinumab for hospitalized patients with COVID-19 infections. Ruxolitinib is marketed by Incyte in the U.S. as Jakafi® and by Novartis overseas as Jakavi®. Canakinumab is marketed by Novartis as Ilaris®. On April 2, Incyte and Novartis said they planned to launch a Phase III clinical trial (RUX-COVID; NCT04331665) to assess the efficacy and safety of Jakafi/Jakavi plus standard-of-care (SoC), compared to SoC therapy alone, in patients with COVID-19 associated cytokine storm. The trial was not yet recruiting patients as of April 13 The company added that it had also granted requests for investigator-initiated trials for COVID-19-related clinical studies of ruxolitinib, canakinumab, and three other drugs whose branded versions are marketed by Novartis: Imatinib mesylate, sold as Gleevec® Secukinumab, sold as Cosentyx® Valsartan, sold as Diovan® Announcement of the hydroxychloroquine trial comes a month after Novartis committed to donating 130 million tablets of generic hydroxychloroquine to support global COVID-19 pandemic response efforts—including 30 million tablets that the pharma giant said it has already donated to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile. Further shipments overseas will be dispatched based on requests from governments around the world, the company said. “We are donating hydroxychloroquine tablets for COVID-19 patients including for use in this and other clinical trials with the hope that researchers and healthcare workers can quickly and scientifically determine whether hydroxychloroquine can help patients around the world combat this disease,” said Richard Saynor, CEO of Sandoz. “We will continue to fulfill orders for existing customers to ensure the medicine remains available to US patients who rely on it for other indicated uses.” www.genengnews.com/news/novartis-plans-phase-iii-trial-of-hydroxychloroquine-for-covid-19/

They don't care about those; they are "anecdotal".
BUSTED: Media Uses VA ‘Study’ To Launch Easily Debunked Attack On Hydroxychloroquine The Establishment Attacks An Inexpensive Treatment Patrick Howley by Patrick Howley April 22, 2020 0 BUSTED: Media Uses VA ‘Study’ To Launch Easily Debunked Attack On Hydroxychloroquine Share on Facebook Share on Twitter The mainstream media is hyping a “study” with data culled from Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals to justify their attack on Hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug that President Donald Trump is fighting to provide to suffering people. (READ: Bon Jovi Keyboard Player Tells Us He Took Hydroxychloroquine And Improved). ABC White House correspondent Jon Karl agitated against Hydroxychloroquine in Trump’s Tuesday White House Task Force briefing, citing the VA study. FDA commissioner Stephen Hahn said “This study is a small retrospective study at the VA” and stressed that results of clinical trials, in progress, are needed. (READ the Actual Study Here). The study merely polled the mostly black elderly male Coronavirus patients who have been treated at the VA through April 11. The study was supported by National Institutes of Health (NIH), which infamously funded Wuhan Institute of Virology scientists to perform bat coronavirus research prior to the current outbreak.
The study cannot be used to credibly attack Hydroxychloroquine because the drug was given to sicker veterans more likely to die anyway as opposed to healthier people. The study was posted on the Internet but not reviewed by other scientists. The study claims 22 percent of people given Hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin died, whereas only 11 percent died with regular care, but the study even notes that this result was expected due to the severe pre-existing conditions of the patients given the Trump-touted drug. The study made no mention of VA doctors prescribing Zinc along with Hydroxychloroquine, even though doctors and medical experts believe that Hydroxychloroquine can only work in partnership with Zinc. One of the authors of the study has a patent application pertaining to Coronavirus and another author took a research grant from Gilead, which is developing a competitor drug to Hydroxychloroquine (the study claimed these competing interests were unrelated to the study itself). Hydroxychloroquine costs less than $1 per tablet, whereas Gilead was accused by a Senate Finance Committee investigation of inflating prices to the detriment of patients. Let’s break down why the mainstream media’s attack is flopping:
Hydroxychloroquine “was more likely to be prescribed to patients with more severe disease” Urologist: Men, Fix Your ED Quickly by Doing This (Try Tonight) MedJournal Ads by Revcontent Find Out More > 70,052
The patients given hydroxychloroquine (ages 59 to 75) had diseases including congestive heart failure, chronic pulmonary disease, diabetes, liver disease, cancer and HIV/AIDS.
The study noted, “However, hydroxychloroquine, with or without azithromycin, was more likely to be prescribed to patients with more severe disease…Thus, as expected, increased mortality was observed in patients treated with hydroxychloroquine both with and without azithromycin.”
“Our study cohort comprised only men whose median age was over 65 years. Therefore, the results may not necessarily reflect outcomes in women or in younger hospitalized populations, nor can they be extrapolated to pediatric patients. Our findings may also be influenced by the demographic composition of patients in our cohort, the majority of whom were black…”
One of the Study’s Authors Took A Research Grant From Gilead, Which Is Developing A Hydroxychloroquine Competitor To Treat Coronavirus
The study’s co-authors come from the University of Virginia or the University of South Carolina. One of the authors, Jayakrishna Ambati, is listed as the inventor on a University of Virginia patent application “relating to COVID-19.” One of the study’s co-authors, S. Scott Sutton, has taken research grant money from Gilead Sciences, which is currently developing a Coronavirus drug that is likely to be much more expensive than Hydroxychloroquine, which costs less than one dollar per tablet. Sutton’s curriculum vitae shows that on three occasions dating back to 2012 he has studied the impact of therapies on veterans with HIV/AIDS and then submitted that research to Gilead, including two times as principal investigator for Gilead and another company on projects funded for a total of $100,000. Gilead spent $5.72 million on lobbying in the year 2019. Gilead was investigated by the Senate Finance Committee over the course of 18 months and accused in 2015 by Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden and Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of inflating the price of its Hepatitis C drug Sovaldi. A press release issued by the senators noted that “the investigation found that the company pursued a marketing strategy and final wholesale price of Sovaldi – $1,000 per pill, or $84,000 for a single course of treatment – that it believed would maximize revenue. Building on that price, Harvoni was later introduced at $94,500. Fostering broad, affordable access was not a key consideration in the process of setting the wholesale prices. In the 18 months following Sovaldi’s approval, Medicare spent nearly $8.2 billion before rebates on Sovaldi and Harvoni. Over that same span, Medicare’s monthly spending on Hepatitis C treatments increased more than six-fold. In 2014 alone, Medicare and Medicaid combined to spend more than $5 billion on Sovaldi and Harvoni before rebates.” Democrat Senator Wyden stated: “Gilead pursued a calculated scheme for pricing and marketing its Hepatitis C drug based on one primary goal, maximizing revenue, regardless of the human consequences…Gilead knew these prices would put treatment out of the reach of millions and cause extraordinary problems for Medicare and Medicaid, but still the company went ahead. If Gilead’s approach to pricing is the future of how blockbuster drugs are launched, it will cost billions and billions of dollars to treat just a fraction of patients.”
Other Factors Cannot Be Ruled Out
The Associated Press was forced to report:
“About 28% who were given hydroxychloroquine plus usual care died, versus 11% of those getting routine care alone. About 22% of those getting the drug plus azithromycin died too, but the difference between that group and usual care was not considered large enough to rule out other factors that could have affected survival. “
Some Doctors Are Pairing Hydroxychloroquine With Zinc, But The Study Does Not Mention Zinc
“What we’re finding clinically with our patients is that it really only works in conjunction with Zinc,” stated Los Angeles emergency room specialist Dr. Anthony Cardillo. “So the hydroxychloroquine opens a zinc channel, zinc goes into the cell, it then blocks the replication of the cellular machinery….Every patient I’ve prescribed it to has been very very ill and within 8 to 12 hours they were basically symptom free.”
