April 8, 2020 The dubious Dr. FauciBy Carol Brown On January 26th, speaking about the coronavirus, Dr. Fauci said the risk to Americans was low, that there was nothing to be worried or frightened about, and that we were prepared (here: 5:08 mark, audio). By mid-February, Fauci was more concerned about the season flu and continued to say the coronavirus risk to Americans was low, and there was no need, for example, to avoid going to Chinese restaurants. He also noted that things could change (as if we need an expert to tell us that). By making such (obvious) statements, he covers himself by leaving the door open to whatever may happen down the road a la, you see, I told you things could change (here). On April 3rd, in direct contradiction to a statement made just a few days prior by Dr. Birx that initial reports coming out of China were suggestive of a SARS-like virus and not a global pandemic (here), Fauci claimed it was clear to him in early-to-mid January that this virus was transmittable from human to human, that transmission was very efficient, and that it wasn’t just another SARS or MERS (here: 13:20 mark). Huh? I thought part of why we were late to the game was because the “experts” thought is was like SARS and therefore would not become a global pandemic. Hence: no worries and enjoy your night out in Chinatown. If we are to believe the incredible Dr. Fauci had a sense of what was headed our way in early January yet never said a word at the time, there appear to be at least two possible explanations. Either, for some unknown reason, he kept this vital impression of the virus to himself for several weeks or he never had that insight early on and is now claiming that he did (otherwise known as lying). No matter what the explanation, he can be confident no one in the media will challenge him because the left has him on a pedestal. But there’s more. On April 5th, Fauci said the percentage of Americans who are infected but asymptomatic could be as high as fifty percent. But he admits he’s just guessing and has no data to support this suspicion (here). So, a monumental number based on insufficient data is offered up to the American people from a scientist who touts data. Well that seems odd, especially coming on the heels of some encouraging news about the direction things appear to be headed beyond the immediate week or so ahead. And if I can share one additional this-is-odd tidbit, albeit presented out of chronological order: On March 22nd, when asked about some of the statements Trump makes at press conferences, Fauci said that he “can’t jump in front of the microphone and push him down.” (here) Say what? He was talking about the President of the United States! One wonders if he made a Freudian slip and said exactly what he’d like to do. In closing, let me say “Hear! Hear!” to a comment President Trump made about himself at a recent press conference, which was that while he’s not a doctor, he does have common sense. I, as well. And something doesn’t add up about Dr. Fauci.

I said it before. The further away from patients Drs are (data driven experts) the less sense of urgency they feel (as in comparison to ER docs). Im sure he is a very intelligent doctor. Most would defer to his expertise. But when you have someone who has one degree in a different career challenge your expertise, it is insulting to that individual because degrees and job titles is all they have in life.
If Dr. Fauci went up to a construction site and started telling the carpenters how to do their jobs, he would get tossed into the wet cement face down. These intellectuals are smart on paper, but not in practice.

What has happened here is that EVERYONE fell for their dire predictions, including Trump.
Now, they are cooking the books with nearly every death being contributed to Chicom virus (by their own admission, aka Dr. Birx)
They have to pump up the numbers to try and get close to their predictions otherwise they will never be believed again.
Plus Fauci, aka Let's never shake hands again (that's when he lost me)
These people live in a fantasy land of medical therories and perfection from sickness
Trump is in a bad spot, if he calls them out for their exaggerated predictions, then he will be accused of falling for misinformation.
Therefore, he has to run with them up to a point.
Eventually, he'll have to say that "we're open for business" and be bludgeoned every hour for any death afterwards (count on the running tally from CNN)
I'M JUST GLAD THAT NO ONE HAS DIED FROM THE FLU OR HEART DISEASE OR DIABETES THIS YEAR
