That was awesome up to the point where the guy playing the Jews harp missed an entire rift. I believe he was the the 2nd guy from the left somewhere in the middle.

No SJWs there, just a great demonstration of dedication, teamwork, coordination and a whole lot of practice. Maybe there is hope for the next generation.

I'm sure the Texas A & M offense is looking at this, thinking: "I wish we had that kind of precision."

"Impressive," maybe. Difficult to write? Not really. Unknown to most is that marching drills such as that have to be actually "written" by someone, on large sheets of graph paper, who has years of experience doing it on very different levels of "difficulty." And each marcher has to be detailed on the paper, and the marching has to be coordinated with the music, which is also written by an expert in marching music. In this case, it's a large group, all marching in the same direction, with their music cues more or less telling them when to turn around in the opposite direction. Nice show, but, as I say, not all that difficult to "write." The biggest problem is probably getting everyone in such a large group to show up for practice, and on time.
Here's an example of a more difficult drill, granted, by a smaller group. But each drum, each flag, each rifle, and just about each horn player has to have their individual steps written out in detail for the entire 14 minutes of the show (and, in the case of the rifles, someone had to choreograph their dance). The quality isn't there, since it was recorded 47 years ago.....

Pro Gay still being a casual bitch just like always. He just has to bring the negative Nancy to everything that isn't to his liking or about what he posts.

It's interesting how my theory on "commenters" is always proven: when they can't contribute something interesting, worthwhile, or even an intelligent opposition, they badmouth the other poster.
It shows their personal blithering ignorance and downright stupidity, as well as lack of personal upbringing and educational development.
And they vote, too.
Sad.

I was in the West Wyomissing SPARKIES drum and bugle Corp when I was a kid. We were small and each had a different thing to do during our competition too. I'm now a past state champion in baton from 1976. I wish we had pur routine on film to watch. I still remember some of it and that was such a fun time. Both me and my best friend were there and it still bring a smile to our face when we talk about it.

To me, it was impressive. The logistics involved to pull this of with a bunch of kids on such a large scale is impressive. The visual aspect is impressive. The coordination while staying in cadence and playing an instrument is impressive. And I'm impressed that they have to do this while continuing their studies.
If you want to see some really great college band formations, watch The Ohio State University's band. The best damn band in the land!
