There was a big 'hue-and-cry' from the Leftist Media when Rush Limbaugh did the same thing a few years back, giving up his NYC digs and studios SPECIFICALLY to get away from the massive NY taxation. And he didn't hide his reasoning, either, which made him even more of a target of the Left.
Let's see if the Leftist Media says anything about this.

The NYS Tax folks will look up his ass with a magnifying glass....if he sets foot in NY, they will tax him for the day.
The NTSDOF is rabid, they know that high earners are leaving for states like FL, TN and others where there is no state income rip-off. Rush was the most notiorious and there was that hedge fund trader from NJ who left and the NJ legislature had to do their budget over. The libs are

We all bail south as soon as possible to save on state income taxes.
He is or was a CT resident not NY resident. Hard to believe that at one time CT had no state income tax. I think it changed in early 80s

Big difference between what Rush did and what these two idiots are doing. Rush moved down to Florida and his show is taped in Florida.
The NBC studios are in New York and Scarborough use to film most of his show from New York. When the tax law changed he then did a John Kerry and used another State for tax purposes. He is just another hypocrite.

I have a place in Florida. This pisses me off to no end because these assclowns come down here and start voting their liberal wacky ways. They just voted to let felons vote. It's in the hundreds of thousands! The Governorship was almost lost to a moron in November. Rick Scott came close to losing to that alien Senator. Terrible.
