I live about 10 miles north of the Barrett-Jackson venue. Went there Saturday....I always enjoy looking at cars I had owned decades ago and cars I would like to own now. If you stay away from the extreme rarities, there are good deals to be had as almost all are sold at no reserve. I also understand the #1 2020 Ford GT500R Mustang sold for just over a million.

Just returned from the auction, man the last day and it was jammed. But some nice restored/preserved cars sold at fair prices. The kid in me came out. The big three had their “hot rods” on display. Hellcats, GT 500s and ZR-1’s were all nice.

Damn, my wife made me stop at a 2.25 million bid. (She was probably right, they most likely would not accept monopoly money.)
