Saw it in the news. Like most of them today, she's a performer. Not a singer. Maybe she is back on the crystal meth.

They have to make it about themselves The national anthem is about service, not selfishness. Its a call to duty for something greater than yourself. Its not about self interpretation. Sing it how it was meant to be sung. Sing it from deep in your heart. Sing it out of love for your nation. Sing it for your sons and daughters, brothers and sisters who are in harms way, serving others. Don't make into a "Look at me!, Look at me" moment. You are taking 2 minutes to lift your country with your voice. All she did was ridiculed herself and anyone who holds the anthem as a sacred as the American flag. Whitney Houston's is still the best rendition ever. |

She can't sing at all. She is using what is called 'vocal fry' and that is how the Kardashians and all the California losers talk using a vibrating ehh sound in the throat. Brittney Spears sounds the same way and can't hit a note without auto-tune. It may also be caused by continual sword swallowing of erect penis.

I started to listen to her rendition of the anthem and could not make it past 10 seconds before shutting it off. I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard, or an Obama speech,than to have to listen to her caterwauling.  |
