His Father a NYPD Sgt was a rat back in the early 70's. He gave up two other sgts in a corruption scandal. I have to say the two sgts were doing dirty. They weren't convicted. I have to say his father was a nice man. never gave any one a problem. I think the job squeezed him hard to talk. Many of us street cops were questioned. I could honestly say that I never saw any of the sgts do anything wrong. I just testified that I was very busy doing my job and the sgts did theirs. I was career pathed and when I returned Sgt Stan was still otj. Not many people around who remembered the "Sgt.s Club" investigation. It was just a big elephant in the room with us old timers.
But the old adage remains "The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!" On a side note: I've been watching reruns of Sopranos through Amazon Prime and the next episode is where Brancato gets whacked by Toni.
