My uncle Elmer was a Jesuit priest at Fordham till the day he died. I’m slowly coming to the conclusion that, as always, the road to hell is always paved with good intentions, and that Jesus himself may have started what now has twisted into the mental disease now known as Progressive Global Socialism. Jesus never said "take from those who have by the point of the sword and give it to those who do not have." Charity is given freely and voluntarily. When people are physically forced to provide money, food, products, or services, then it is not charity is any sense of the word.  |
