Today's Jesuits are the antithesis of the Jesuits of my college experience. On the other hand the Pope is a Jesuit and this academic standard is in line with his teachings. You hear that from a lot of people about the Jesuits. And the Pope does nothing to hide his stand on Socialist behavior, either. In fact, didn't we recently have a similar situation right on the Rose Hill campus of Fordham, where a kid walked into some cafe with a "MAGA" hat, and was physically thrown out? It was only after the video of the encounter was published by the Post that the school started a face-saving song-and-dance about it. Otherwise, they probably would have encouraged future actions like that.
