I have friends who routinely vacation in Mexico every year. I initially tried to convince them that Mexico sends us their least desirables which we pay for, so why should Americans spend their money there?
That didn't work too well, but now I send them the latest news reports of lead poisoning and kidnappings coming out of some of the more popular places down there, and they are now, at least, getting second thoughts.
