The article stated that they are wanting him to retire to save face and keep his pension and get his good guy letter though. I'm sorry but I'm not sure he deserves a pension for doing stuff that us regular people get tossed into jail for doing. As long as he is modified or restricted, he risks being denied his pension if the dept has an open investigation he still risks being fired. The job can deny the retirement and keep you on active status until the investigation is closed. Since he is a boss, they will most likely try to do a wink and a nod. My prediction is a 30 and a year hit, and let him retire. If he was a cop, he'd be fired.
