No he's not. He's an embarrassment to DELATORRE alone. No one else gives a flying F***.
Delatorre was probably hiding him on behalf of an old friend on the job, or the sgt was an old friend himself.
Considering what we've seen being arrested from the NYPD lately, this guy is far from an "embarrassment," but more like a poor sad sack.
The REAL embarrassments are the big bosses...like D.Is....getting locked up for being chauffeurs for diamond merchants who demand and accept cash is plain envelopes, then allowed to retire.
