Ive had Directv for 15 years, and love it. I too have the Premier Package, with HD and two DVR's
I have my DVR hooked up to my cable Internet and can download Thousands of programs right to my DVR from the Internet.
I also have the Iphone app that i can search and download any program right from my phone. Works great!
They have a really good HD picture and offer both 1080i and 1080P in HD.
True, as everyone has stated, Storms you may lose your signal.
But get the DVR, I watch 90% of my programs recored anyway and always have hours of shows on the DVR ready to go.
I live in the Thunderstorm Capital of the U.S. and Honestly i rarely lose signal, Only in the baddest storms, And you should not be watching tv during those heavy storms anyway.
I love it 255 Channels 155 of them in HD for a little over a hundred bucks with a DVR.
