My wife bought me the complete set a couple of years ago. I find myself setting aside a Saturday afternoon every couple of months or so just to sit and watch the entire series.
One of the greatest series since Victory at Sea. It's especially good to hear the actual members of the unit discuss the series and the other members of the unit.
I don't think the kids today would be interested in watching it. It's about patriotism, dedication and love of country - all character traits that have no place in the mindset of many of today's youth.
