It's not REAL fair market value, it's the assessed value that the county, town, and village uses to tax you at. So although it's not a real figure of what my home is worth it means a lot when the bastids tax me at the old market value although it's not current. What gets me is the county is the one that posted the lower figure, NOT ME!!! ;D
