I agree wholeheartedly that the MSM and the international media looks to crucify cops/le agents with great zeal.
But a SS agent is charged with the duty to protect the life of POTUS at all cost. If it means using his/her body as a shield then that's what is done. ( Tough job - takes a special kinda person).
I saw none of that in the clips I have seen.
I wasn't there, but like I saidI have been at similar events with government dignitaries (ours and foreign).
Maybe I am missing something here but it seemed that it took an aweful long time for the agents to control the situation and no one removed the President for his protection after the fact.
I would have insisted on his being brought back to a safe corridor until any and all viable threats were "in fact" and without any doubt removed.
It didn't even seem that the agents attempted to safeguard the POTUS in the aftermath.
Kinda shocking, and hopefully any and all mistakes/missteps can be rectified before the next attack. Luckily this one was just a pair of shoe. From what I have viewed, I have little doubt that this could have ended much worse.
