Most of the furniture in our first apartment was either borrowed or given to us. Our first bedroom set belonged to Mrs. Z's grandfather, but we had to put that in storage because he passed away a year before we got married. As it turns out, the storage company LOST the entire set and we had to sue to get something for it.
Anyway, we looked at Direct Buy when we redid part of our kitchen last year. It was just easier to have one person get the cabinets, countertops and install everything than go to DB and first have to have it installed.
