If you've ever been associated with SPECIAL WEAPONS, there isn't any playing around if you follow my drift. We would never confirn nor deny that we carried such weapons, but the whole world knew what we were up to when loading out for a Med deployment. Same thing, but only in reverse, after we got home. The Marines who escorted these SW's came from US Naval Weapons Station Yorktown VA. They would close down the Chesapeake Bridge/Tunnel to conduct their secure operations. The NNSA types are for if I'm correct, the transporting of the fissile materials from decommed weapons and nuclear reactors, so we really had nothing to do with them.
