is TALLER than the Washington Monument and is THE tallest
monument in the world and commemorates the
fall of Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna to
Sam Houston and the Texas Army after the previous incident
at The Alamo. the Texas Revolution was won and the Mexican
Army was forced out of Texas.
