Tomorrow night (Friday, Oct. 24th) my nephew's band is playing the 2nd round of Kicknote.com's Battle of the Boroughs at Sullivan Hall (214 Sullivan St. in Manhattan). If anybody wants to go inbox me, they are due to go on around 11:00pm. You can also log on to www.kicknote.com & view it online. If there are problems viewing it due to buffering, it will be available for viewing for at least a few days after & it seems to play better then.......
The bands with the highest scores move on to the next round - the scores are compiled by a combination of the # of tickets the band sells, # of online votes & the judges' score. In Round 1 they received a higher judges' score than any other act. If you can, please vote for them. You'll need to register each e-mail address you use, then go back into that e-mail account to click on the link to activate the registration. I haven't gotten spammed by them at all, it seems that they are doing that to keep it as fair as possible - so that people aren't voting from e-mail names that aren't really theirs. The voting should be open for a few days after the show........
