The facts just don't show that. We have countries that have not adopted these drastic measures as we have. Yes, they have deaths but no drastic numbers. The same or less than our country. We have states in our country that did not adopt the lock down, they have no huge numbers of deaths.

Again, this is an inaccurate comparison. Take cities in the East coast where piling people on top of each other, and stuffed in mass transit, and where everyone travels from 6am to 9am, and from 3pm to 6pm plus overcrowded class rooms then try to compare it to an agricultural state that do not have the same density and you end up with an inaccurate view of the numbers. Each state is different. Just as how it effects people with genetic predisposition to diabetes, heart and lung disease are more susceptible to the damaging effects and secondary infections than to those who are generally in better health, and not forgetting researchers have found 3 separate strains circulating the globe.

And one more important factor. This corona virus is new and with a shortened season as compared to the flu. The time schedules arent even the same, yet experts are saying the flu is deadlier.

The numbers are way off. Too many are trying to downplay it. There is no real true comparison to make for at least a full year of studies are done. We are only 4 months into this. And yet, it has cost 6 trillion to the US economy, 25 million unemployed, 750k positive tests, over 40K deaths. We never took such draconian steps world wide before, including the cessation of hand shakes, yet people say there is really nothing to worry about.

Remember this tid bit no one is talking about. The flu, with its various strains, a vaccine is an educated guess each year in predicting which strain will be prevalent and yet we have tens of thousands die. The China Virus is totally new, and experts say this is going to be with us for years to come. It isnt replacing the flu, its joining the flu in causing death.

So it is very decieving to compare the two, as if one will displace the other. No. They just doubled or more, the death rate from upper respiratory infections. That is the true number we should be concerned about. Over twice the mortality rate is going to be the norm, if we dont get a vaccine soon. That means we have some serious permanent changes to our lifestyle, our freedoms will be effected.
