not saying it is the case here, but intelligence services have been known to plant stories in obscure places to build a narrative that eventually creeps into the mainstream and establishes a new a narrative. it’s become much easier with the internet and social media. many nations, particularly russia and china, routinely utilize “troll armies” to guide a narrative. just watching this current situation it’s equally amazing and frightening how easily our population is manipulated-especially by silicon valley which seems to
