"Is it possible that docs and hospitals are erroneously attributing many deaths to COVID-19 that resulted from other maladies, many pre-existing? Under the circumstances, I believe it is not only possible, but probable, even likely, if a Minnesota doctor’s allegation is true.
The “circumstances” are payola from Medicare to hospitals and docs for listing patients as COVID-19 patients. The $64 million question is “why would they do that?” Whatever the reason, it has given a great incentive to docs and hospitals to list as many patients as possible as COVID-19 patients, resulting, obviously, in also artificially increasing the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Conscientious docs, including Dr. Scott Jensen of Minnesota, are blowing the whistle on this, reporting that CDC is issuing guidance to docs and hospitals to report any death of a patient that experienced symptoms that could be suspected as COVID (flu-like or respiratory), of which there are many, as COVID deaths. No test necessary.

Dr. Jensen is also reporting that Medicare is paying $13,000 extra for COVID patients and $39,000 extra for intubated (put on a ventilator) COVID patients, which, if true, and I have no reason to doubt him, is corrupt as hell!"
