Hizzoner’s new $89.3 billion spending plan revealed.
Context: Bloomberg's last budget was $70 billion and balanced. Kaiser Wilhelm blew out the budget and nobody even knows where the money actually went.
It's now 1975 all over again and NY State Financial Control Board control of the NYC budget is all but assured for the first time since 1986.
Once the pandemic eases enough for people to move around, expect NYC population to drop by at least one million -- almost all taxpaying, law abiding decent folks.
It took 20+ years to crawl out of the last collapse. There won't be any crawling out of it this time.
