Trump is a very unconventional type of politician.
His heart is for the entire country. His brain is groomed for business. His hobby is being an entertainer.
But he cannot continue to rely on only himself. He had a shot at giving peace a chance to extricate America from the Afghanistan. He lost. The Taliban continues to kill innocent ppl and Trump thinks they can broker an honest deal from them.
Trump needs to set loose the military and increase the body count until they have been wiped out. In order to do that, he needs solid trustworthy experts in national security. Trump hasn't been picking the right people. By his own apprentice standards, he has failed.
2020 is around the corner and Afghanistan could be the issue bigger than the economy that can blow his chances for a 2nd term. North Korea and Iran aren't too far behind either. Trump has to nail down his foreign policy and deliver those promises.
