Elmo, and Menkoto, no matter how many facts you drop on them, no matter how obvious it all is, you will not be able to break through the firewall of cognitive dissonance that is so prevalent in the general population, cops included. 

So you will hear the usual along with the hand waving: "It's a far-right/far left fringe website!!" (If it ain't on Fox News or CNN or MSNBC, or ABC 6 o'clock news, it didn't happen.) They still haven't even grasped the entire fallacy of the left/right paradigm. 
 
"It's a conspiracy theory!!!" ( A term weaponized after the JFK hit, and used to mock and shut down anyone who says, "wait a minute, this isn't adding up".) A cop should know that when a couple of guys plot to rob a bank, it's a conspiracy. That seems to fly over their heads, for some reason. Believing that the mob is involved in waste management is a conspiracy theory. 

"You have no proof!!!"  Whatever evidence you show them, they won't like the source, so it's summarily dismissed. No matter who is indicted and their connections, it won't matter to them.

But just like so many Catholics, who couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that the Church is a pedophile factory, they lashed out and claimed it was a conspiracy against the church, not a conspiracy of silence BY the church. "Father McGee is a good man, he would never do blah blah blah". Well, time to wake up. The coffee is brewing.
